Bose car speakers ARE, actually, factory installed speakers. As far as factory stereos go, they are not bad. Not the best, not the worst. They do a lot of what they do in the home audio arena, that is, use odd sized speakers for the job at hand, and then equalize the snot out of it to try to make it work.
