In Acts 16, a jailer asks what he must do to be saved, Paul and Silas tell him, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.” This is the most basic answer. So no, you don’t need to be a preacher. In fact, preaching won’t really help you unless you walk the path Jesus calls you to as well.
