Leave it plugged in, unless there’s some reason you desperately need to save the pennies from your electric bill. If there’s a problem with it, (ex. it’s malfunctioning and keeps turning on your tv when it shouldn’t be) then sure, but otherwise it’s completely fine, and even highly recommended, to leave it plugged in.
