One of the major differences between the 2 syllabus is the grading. A student opting for IGCSE Core Maths can achieve a maximum of C grade (options being C, D, E, F and G). C is the only grade recognized as “Pass”. IGCSE Extended curriculum offers grades A*, A, B, C, D and E; A* being the highest.
