【How-to】How do you replace the pump on a kenmore elite dishwasher

Unscrew the bolts on the pump housing. Then remove the pump housing from the dishwasher. Unscrew the bolt from the upper impeller. Then remove the upper impeller, followed by the food disposer blade, the spacer plate, the impeller hood, the flat plate, the O-ring and the lower impeller.
