italki Credits Refund PolicyAuthorized payments are final. No cash refunds will be given for purchased italki Credits. If your lesson request is canceled by you, declined by a teacher, or expires (not confirmed by the Teacher in time), you will receive a 100% refund to your italki Student Wallet.

If no action is taken by either student or teacher before the Package expiration date, the Package will expire. The remaining italki credits in the Package will be sent to the teacher, excluding italki’s commission.

Can you change your italki video?
Teachers have to respond to the lesson request within 48 hours or the lesson start time, whichever comes sooner. Otherwise, the lesson request will automatically expire and the italki Credits will be returned to the student. And the teacher’s attendance rate will be negatively affected.
How do I contact italki?
If you decide later that you want to update the video, you just need to go to Teacher Settings > Teacher Profile > Video to change it. After that, you will see a preview of the video. Once the processing is complete, it will be sent to italki staff for approval before the change appears on your profile page.

To book a package, you can visit a teacher’s profile page:
- Click the “Book Now” button.
- Select a suitable lesson level/type.
- Select the lesson duration and lesson numbers in your package (5/10/20 Lessons), click “Next”
- Book one or more lessons according to your study plan.
What platform does italki use?
To avoid unwanted interactions on italki, you can block other users. and select Unblock if you would like to remove a user from your block list.
