How long does it take to learn Korean?

How long does it take to study for topik?
Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) is a written test to measure non-native learners’ Korean language skills. It is a universally accepted certification, useful when applying for academic courses, internships, or jobs which require you to know the language.
How do I prepare for topik?
Depend on your target and your learning method. If you are an ambitious person, I would say you will need 3 months to clear Level 2 (Basic); or 6–9 months to clear Level 4 (Intermediate); but I suggest 1.5 years to clear Level 6 (Advanced).
Can I take topik II without taking topik 1?
For level 4, you need 150 points, or an average of 50 points per section. BUT, chances are good that you will score better in the multiple choice sections than the writing section, so you want to aim for a minmum of about 50/50/20 or 60/60/30 (or if you have more confidence in writing, 45/45/30 or 55/55/40).
