“Universal fit” steering wheels are made with a number of vehicles in mind – not just yours. Conversely, “vehicle-specific” wheels are made to fit a specific year, make, and model. Because of manufacturing economies of scale, universal wheels may sell for less than vehicle-specific ones of the same design.
